Why I no longer go to the LDS church

I can't believe the odasoity of some people! After what Jim Thomas did to us , they have the nerve to ask us to go back to church! Jim Thomas for those who haven't been reading my blog very long, is the Old Orchartd Beach town manager who forced us out of our home and off our land. Land that had been in our family over 300 years! Land that was settled by the original found of the Town and my several greats grandfather Thomas Rogers! Jim Thomas and Ken Shoop those greedy, high poluting, money grubing land monger bastards took everything away from us and forced us to live homeless on the streets until hud finally got us into an apartment! We had to live on the streets in a tent for 8 months! And it wasn't even a tent, it was a trap and so cinder block. And it was during Maines sub-zero winter of 2006 when the temp went down to -15 below zero. My fingers froze and are now stiff as a result, and I can draw any more, and it's hell for me to pick up a pen a write now. Me and

World's Worst Poet

Never give up, there are lessons to be learned from failrure. Just look at this guy. He was the world's worst poet when he was alive, and yet 100 years later he's still the world's worst poet, but his poems continue to sell anyways! Besides, now you know that no matter how bad your poems are, their well always be someone who is worse! Today's Answers.com Spotlight: William McGonagall , gleefully known as one of English language's worst poets, continues to get no respect. Last month, plans for a memorial to him at the Writers Museum in Edinburgh (alongside those honoring Robert Burns , Robert Louis Stevenson and Sir Walter Scott ) were blocked by the Saltire Society in Scotland. In an epithet on a volume of his works, McGonagall's own publisher called him the world's worst poet. In spite of his detractors, McGonagall's works have remained in print for over a hundred years. He used to carry an umbrella everywhere he went, because there was always a ch

Finished Reading Harry Potter 7

Finished HP7 3 days ago. ... what a bloodbath! She had said she was killing off 2 characters. YIKES! She started bumping them off right in chapter one and than keep on going in each chapter to follow! How many characters did she kill off? I don't know, I lost count after chapter 4! My brother says it was 15 all together (main and sub characters that is.... closer to 50 if you count Death Eaters and Muggles too). Deathly Hallows is by far the fastest moving, most action packed book in the series. Only one complaint: so as not to add any spoilers for those who haven't read it yet, I'll not name names... I loved the book execpt for one really big minor detail: she killed off my fave character!!!! WAAAAA!!! :( :( Not only killed him, but singled him out to slaughter him, which turned out to be a major turning point for the story and changed everything you thought you knew about the series and totally turned it upside down! Quagga

Answers.com says: Spotlight: On this date in 1883, the last known quagga in the world died in an Amsterdam zoo and scientists have been trying to bring it back ever since. The quagga looked a lot like a zebra but with stripes only on its front half (in that sense the opposite of an okapi , which has stripes only on its hindquarters). The Quagga Project has had some success in breeding back ; Henry, born in 2005, is the closest we now have to a quagga. But there are also the aptly named zedonks and zorses and other members of the zebroid (zebra hybrid) family, which are generally sterile. Quote: "So you see! There's no end To the things you might know, Depending how far beyond Zebra you go!" — Dr. Seuss in On Beyond Zebra! Conservation status Extinct ( 1883 ) ( IUCN ) Scientific classification Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Class: Mammalia Order: Perissodactyla Family: Equidae Genus: Equus Subgenus: Hippotigris Species: E. quagga Subspecies: E. q. quagga Trino

Vincent Price Movie Marathon!

Anyone else watching it? Twenty-four hours, all Vincent Price, all day, all night. Now why can’t they do this everyday? I haven’t seen a Vincent Price Movie Marathon since I was 8 years old! Back than I scared myself out going into the backroom of the Shop at night as a result of “The Mad Magician”. It was the only time I had ever seen this movie, and today I barely remember anything about it, other than the fact that it burned in my memory as the scariest thing I had ever seen, and I couldn‘t wait to see it again. (My mom owned a craft-shop back than, and I watched the VP movies marathon in the backroom.) Though he had scared the wits out of me that day, he instantly became my favorite actor, and today still remains my #1 all time fave. While I’ve seen 50 of his movies, there are still about 30 more that I have never seen. You can imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning to discover that TCM had hosting a Vincent Price Movie Marathon… Vincent Price all day, none stop, no commer

Woo~Hoo! My first Squidoo pay day!

I've been building Squidoo lenses since April 2007. Today I just got an announcment on my Squidoo Dashboard. It said: Payday, Payday! Here's your Squidcash, earned from 06/01/2006 to 06/30/2006. Congrats, and keep up the great lenses. OMG! My first payday from Squidoo! I can't believe it! My lenses are actually making money! When I first startede doing this and I read that you could make money doing it, I laughed. I built my first few lenses just to see if I realy could make money by shareing info on my hobbies, but I didn't think it'd work. As I got going, I quickly got addicted to building them, and now I've got about 40 lenses. I've been haveing so much fun here, that I didn't even think about the money part of it any more. In fact, I forgot that I had come here to try to make some extra money! LOL! Than today they send my first pay-day to my PayPal account. WOW! I'm making money for doing something I love doing! That is so cool!
